Jean Norton Lawlor

Jean Norton Lawlor, 65, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on October 16, 2026.

Born on April 20, 1961, in New Rochelle, New York, Jean was the youngest daughter of William Leo Lawlor and Eleanor Louise Lawlor.

Jean spent many years working for the Scottsdale Public Library system. Known for her impeccable sense of style and love of fashion, Jean was equally admired for her independence, generosity, and kind heart. Her compassion and thoughtfulness were reflected in the many ways she cared for and supported those around her. She also shared a special bond with her beloved dogs, Bailey and Poppy, who brought her much happiness and companionship.

Jean is survived by her sister, Betsy Malizia; her nieces, Katie, Ali, Roisin, and Megan; and extended family and friends.

She will be remembered for her kindness, generous spirit, and the lasting impression she made on those fortunate enough to know her. She will be dearly missed.
