It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey A. Marrell, 54, who left this world far too soon on October 14, 2025. Jeff was a beloved son, brother, uncle, partner, and friend. Though he was unmarried, he shared a cherished relationship with his significant other, Rosie, who brought love and joy to his life. Always by his side was his loyal little dog, Tito, his constant companion, and source of comfort.
Known affectionately by those close to him as a "gentle giant," Jeff had a commanding presence that was matched only by his warmth and compassion. He has a brilliant, curious mind and a passionate spirit. Whether it was discussing politics, caring for animals, hiking new trails and exploring new places through travel, Jeff approached life with thoughtfulness and enthusiasm. Most importantly Jeff loved spending time with family.
Professionally, Jeff found great success as a mortgage broker, earning the respect and admiration of both clients and colleagues. But it was his kindness, humility, quiet strength, and authenticity that left the most lasting impression on all who knew him.
Jeff is deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by his father and stepmother, his mother and stepfather, his two sisters and a dear aunt. He was also adored by his nephew, three nieces, and a great nephew. He was preceded in death by his stepbrother. He will be sorely missed by his younger handicapped sister, Nikki, who Jeff never missed a moment to show her how much she is loved. His loss is felt profoundly by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Jeff will be laid to eternal rest at sea off the coast of Dana Point with his stepbrother Jonathan.
A Celebration of Life will be held with close family and friends to honor and remember him.
Jeff, your absence leaves an ache in our hearts, but your spirit remains ever-present in our memories.
We love you. May God bless you eternally.
Rest in peace and may your spirit be free.
