John Richard Montanez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Richard Montanez on July 17, 2025. He is survived by his daughter Lilliana, fiancé Olivia, parents John and Michelle Montanez, sisters Alexandria and Vanessa, and brother, Jesse.

From the moment he came into our lives, John filled our hearts with immeasurable love and laughter. As a young child, he was already with a joke or funny quip that had his siblings laughing. From his mischievous antics to his innocent pranks, his laughter was the soundtrack of our lives.

He will always be remembered for his smile and willingness to go the extra mile for the people he loved. Though he may have left this world, his memory will live on in our hearts, a testament to his profound impact on those blessed to know him.

A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home followed by a graveside burial at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ.
