John V. Ramos

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of John Ramos on February 15, 2026. He was 95 years old. John was the son of Secundino and Ramona Vasquez Melendez Ramos. He was born in Roswell New Mexico. His mother and father died when John was young. He was raised by his grandmother Mercedes Vasquez. John and his wife Minnie Monty shared 73 years together. They are survived by his sons John, Michael, Christopher and daughter Ramona, plus grandchildren and great grandchildren. John put his priorities on his faith, family and career. He loved working with hands, fixing cars to upholstering furniture. He retired as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Cursillo Movement. He believed in ministering to his community.

 Mass will be celebrated at 11:00a.m., on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 11001 N. 40th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85028. Burial service with military honors to follow at 1:00p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E. Pinnacle Peak Road Phoenix Arizona 85024.
