Juan Luis Alvallar

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Juan Luis Alvallar Sr, who departed this life on July 21, 2025, at the age of 65, at his home in Phoenix, Arizona. Juan was born on November 11, 1959, in Huanusco, Zacatecas, Mexico, and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria Ramirez, and their children: Juan Luis, Ely, Lily, and Minnie. Juan was a proud grandfather to Karina, Joely, Denisse, Royce, Alexa, Max, Minnie, Dominic, Sebastian, Mateo, and Santiago, and a loving great-grandfather to Arianna Ramirez.

Juan will be remembered for his strength, love for his family, and deep roots in faith. He touched many lives with his quiet wisdom, sense of humor, and generous heart.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Funeral Mass and burial will take place on Saturday, July 26, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Phoenix.

Juan’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. He is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Nació el 11 de Noviembre de 1959 en Huanusco, Zacatecas, México, y fue un hombre cuya fortaleza, amor por su familia y fe inquebrantable dejaron una huella imborrable.

Juan fue el amado esposo de María Ramírez, y juntos construyeron una vida basada en el amor, la familia y la fe. Fue un padre orgulloso y dedicado de Juan Luis, Ely, Lily y Minnie, y un abuelo amoroso de Karina, Joely, Denisse, Royce, Alexa, Max, Minnie, Dominic, Sebastián, Mateo y Santiago. Y su bisnieta Arianna Ramírez, quien llenó su vida de alegría.

Juan será recordado por su fuerza, sabiduría y dedicación incondicional a sus seres queridos. Fue un ejemplo de humildad, gracia y amor. Su presencia fue un regalo para todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

La velación se llevará a cabo el Viernes 25 de Julio de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018. La Misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará el Sábado 26 de Julio, a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Saint Francis Xavier, seguida del sepelio.
