Juan Perez, a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and man of faith, passed away leaving behind a family shaped by his presence, his imperfections, and his enduring love. He was born in El Paso, Texas, and spent most of his life in Arizona, where he built his home and raised his family.
Juan is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Perez, who stood by his side through life’s many chapters. He was a father to Kathalina Mejia, Juan Perez, and Louie Perez, and a proud grandfather to Michelle Gomez, Abrianna Perez, Randy Perez, and Alex Martin. He also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren who brought him great joy and pride.
He is also survived by his siblings: Teresa Celeya, Juanita Martin, Antonia Zubia, Louie Celeya, Benito Celeya, David Gonzaga, Jesse Gonzaga, and Quinton Burns. To them, he was not only a brother, but a friend - someone who shared laughter, loyalty, and a lifelong bond.
A devoted Catholic, Juan held a deep belief in God that remained an important part of his life. His faith helped guide him and provided strength through both joyful and difficult times.
Juan cared for his family in his own way. As a stay-at-home father, he was a constant presence - someone who showed up when it mattered and stood as a protector for those he loved. His life was not without its struggles, but even in those moments, he remained someone his family could count on in ways that were uniquely his.
He found joy in music, often singing along to his favorite songs and dancing whenever the moment allowed. Those memories - filled with laughter, rhythm, and life - will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Juan will be remembered not as a perfect man, but as a real one: someone who loved deeply, believed strongly, and left a lasting imprint on his family. His memory will live on, and he will be deeply missed.
