Karen S. (Hague) Allbaugh, age 87, died Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Hospice of the Valley Ryan House in Phoenix, AZ after a brief illness. She was born July 26, 1938 in Tippecanoe County, Lafayette, IN to Vance E. and Edna R. (Pattee) Hague. She graduated from Klondike High School in Indiana in 1956. She was employed by Steamco Supply (Ed Grace Company). Karen married William A. Allbaugh on January 16, 1986.

In her earlier years she was a great left-handed bowler; loved to dance and water ski; fishing was something she was always ready to do. In later years her “sport” was going to a casino with her friend Judy (Anuta) McFadden and buying “scratch off” lottery tickets.

Karen is survived by her daughter Lynnea “Nea” M. Groer, grandson Keegan W. Groer, granddaughter Lexi R. Groer (Johnathan Valenzuela), great granddaughter Luna Valenzuela, all of Phoenix, AZ, sister Patricia A. (Hague) Mosier, nephews Bryan G. (Cindy) Mosier, Michael S. (Aaron) Mosier, all of Phoenix, AZ, nephew Thomas W. Hague, niece Katrina S. Hague both of Indianapolis, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Ethel “Janie” Hague, sister Reba J. Hague, husband William A. Allbaugh, brother-in-law Jerry L. Mosier, nephew Lawrence A. Hague, brother Thomas G. Hague.

Karen was a proud member of the Eagles, Aerie #347, in Lafayette, IN, for 35 years.

A special thank you to the palliative care team at Abrazo Arrowhead, Sherry and Cheryl of Hospice of the Valley and the staff at Ryan House. Even though Karen was with them a very short period of time, she was surrounded by gentle, caring, compassionate and communicative individuals. Peace and love to all.
