Kay Ellen Sack, age 87, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on October 13, 2026, surrounded by her family. Kay was born on September 14, 1939, in Adrian, Michigan, to Elgin Porter and Rowena Baldwin. She grew up in Adrian and attended Adrian High School. In 1961, she married John Sack, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, generosity, and friendship. Kay and John raised four children. Family was always at the center of Kay's life, and she took great pride in her children and grandchildren and especially treasured the time she spent with them.
Kay will be remembered for her generous spirit, wonderful sense of humor, and infectious laugh. She genuinely enjoyed people and being with family and friends, and her laughter could fill a room. Her Catholic faith was a central part of her life and was reflected in the way she cared for others and served her community. Kay was deeply involved with the Knights and Dames of Malta, the Christ Child Society, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
These organizations, and the people she came to know through them, were an important part of her life and reflected her commitment to faith, service, and helping others.
Kay is survived by her husband, John; her sons John Jr. and David, and her son Steven and daughter-in-law Tracie; her son-in-law Michael Rossman; and her grandchildren David, Nick, and Weston Rossman, Justin and Chris Sack, and Emmersen Sack. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth.
