Laurina Helen (Hamburger) Jarvis, age 57, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on February 3, 1969, in Peru, Indiana.

Laurina dedicated her life to learning, service, and the people she loved. She earned a Master’s degree in Healthcare Informatics from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Columbus State Community College. Her professional path reflected her deep commitment to helping others and her passion for improving healthcare through both compassion and innovation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carol (Stoup) Hamburger. Laurina is survived by her partner, John Tonjes; her children Justin Hembree, Hadyn Jarvis, and Ian Jarvis; and her siblings Matthew (Lisa) Hamburger, Lisa (Scott) Seeley, and Theresa (Curtis) Hissong. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and close friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Laurina was an avid hiker who found joy in the outdoors, often seeking out new trails and adventures. She treasured time spent with family and friends, and her warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Scottsdale Elks Club, located at 6398 E Oak St, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. All who knew and loved Laurina are welcome to attend and honor her remarkable life.
