Leonor Bribiescas, 95, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Leonor was born on September 29, 1930, in Superior, Arizona to Ascension and Petra Bribiescas. She was raised during the Great Depression with strong family values that shaped the way she lived her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.
She was a proud high school graduate in Superior and later worked as a lead packer for Wincup, where she was known for being a hard worker.
Leonor found joy in her family, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She cherished spending time with her family, and some of her happiest moments were those shared with the people she loved most. Her laughter, strength, advice and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Leonor is survived by her brother and sister; Vera Bribiescas, Henry Bribiescas Sr.; her daughter; Lupita Miranda; her grandchildren, Ernest V Miranda III.; and her cherished great grandchildren; Ernest S Miranda IV and Lillyana Miranda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ernest B. Miranda Jr, her brothers and sisters; Ascension Bribiescas Jr, Joe Bribiescas, Alfred Bribiescas, Elvira Bribiescas and Refugio Bribiescas
Leonor will be remembered for being kind hearted, the strength she showed throughout her life, the wisdom she shared with her loved ones and the unwavering devotion she had to her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
There will be a Viewing at 9:00 a.m. for an hour with a celebration of Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N 24th Street, Phoenix. The Burial will be at 11:15 a.m. at St Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N 48th Street, Phoenix, reception will follow at St Agnes Catholic Church.
