Lillian Angelina Scott

Lillian Angelina Scott, 96, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026. Born on November 3, 1929, in New York, Lillian moved with her family to Arizona in 1953, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. She retired from Blake, Moffett &Towne/Unisource after 35 years of dedicated service.

Lillian loved to travel and was passionately involved with Our Lady of the Assumption Sodality at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, where her faith and church community brought her great joy throughout her life. She will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Angelina Talavera, and her brother, Joseph Talavera. Lillian is survived by her children, Pam Warfeld, Mike Collins (Jennifer), and Kimberly Wren; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her love and the many memories they shared.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. and viewing will be held from 5:00p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 29 ,2026 at 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85018. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 24th Street and Campbell, on Thursday, July 30,2026 at 10 a.m., 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85016. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85008.
