Logan Matthew Kilkenny, 24, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on July 7, 2026. Born in North Kansas City on July 11, 2001, Logan was raised in Liberty and graduated from Liberty High School. From a young age, Logan threw himself into everything he did.
He grew up playing football, baseball, and wrestling, but rugby became his true passion. He loved the grit, teamwork, and heart of the sport. That same drive eventually carried him to Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, where he met the love of his life, Haley McClure, the person who quickly became his home.
Logan never felt bound to a traditional path. Even after moving thousands of miles from home, he continued to follow his heart. He and Haley built a beautiful life together while he discovered his calling as an electrician. He thrived on the technical, problem-solving side of the trade and genuinely enjoyed the personal connections he made at different job sites. Logan knew exactly what brought him happiness.
He loved watching anime, building Star Wars LEGO sets, and playing video games. He cherished quiet time reading sci-fi on his Kindle or crocheting blankets. His passions were completely his own, though his enthusiasm was deeply contagious—especially when it meant making Haley sit through all the Star Wars movies.
He leaves behind a profound legacy of love and loyalty and will be forever missed by his parents, Sean and Leah Kilkenny; his siblings, Max and Grayce; and his devoted partner, Haley McClure.
Above all, Logan loved fiercely. His loyalty was unwavering, his humor unforgettable, and his presence irreplaceable. To know Logan was to feel his warmth, his stubborn determination, and his deep, steady love.
