Jack Stevens Mandala

Jack Stevens Mandala passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2023, in Ft. Worth, TX. He is survived by his parents, Amy Moore Mandala, of Tucson, and Charlie Mandala, of Dallas; his brother, Michael; his grandmothers, Sarabeth Moore of Paradise Valley, AZ, and Joan Mandala of La Quinta, CA; aunts and uncles, Steve and Sheryl Mandala, Carrie Mandala, John and DeeDee Moore, Anne Moore and Vinny Allen, cousins Nicole, Kelly, Max, Katie, Emma and John. Jack was predeceased by his grandfathers, J. William Moore, Sr., and Mark Mandala, and his uncle Michael Mandala.

Jack was born on January 29, 2000, in Scottsdale, AZ. After graduating from Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, he attended Texas Christian University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity. He received his BA in Marketing from TCU, and joined Angi to begin a career in sales. Jack was a standout tennis player at Salpointe. His love of tennis led him to his “Sets in the City” friends, and he looked forward to their Wednesday night matches and gatherings at Roger’s Roundhouse.

Jack never had a bad day, and he seemed to find the upside in every situation. When asked how his day was, how he did on an exam, how learning to drive was going, how his match went, the answer always began with, “GREAT!” Jack’s love of his family and his enthusiasm for a good chat, current events, and Nico’s burritos left everyone in his sphere a bit more joyful. He was a faithful son, brother and friend. We will miss him, always.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, May 20, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5150 N. Valley View Rd., Tucson. Private interment at St. Francis Cemetery, Phoenix at a later date. Funeral live streamed at
