Marco Antonio Silva

Marco A. Silva, born and raised in Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on the 25th of September, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born to Guadalupe R. Silva and Paula Salas on August 25th, 1973 in Phoenix, AZ. He eventually laid roots in Tolleson, Arizona where many of his loved ones would gather to laugh, smile, and celebrate the good things in life. He was one of four boys. He lived a lovely 53 years and was a light to everyone that knew him.

During his most formative years, he attended St. Mary’s High School and made it into the Knights Hall of Fame. He graduated from there in 1991, being recognized as one of the best kickers to ever attend.

Marco had a long successful career as a delivery driver at UPS and then went forth to work with water services for the City of Phoenix in January of 2021.

He is the father to two boys and two girls, Breanna, Marco Jr., Miguel, and Izabelle, and grandfather to Gianni and Xzavien.

Sandra Ulloa was his loving partner of 23 years, and she gracefully spent every moment by his side, caring for him and loving him in his sickness and in his health.

He spent his time on Earth playing golf and softball, going to the gym, enjoying the casino, spending time with family and friends, watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys with a Miller Lite, and being a friend to anyone who needed support and laughter in their life.

His love, cheerful spirit, and ambition will be deeply missed. The life he had lived is an example to enjoy the little things for one day they may become the big things that are remembered. Marco gave everyone the blueprint for how to live a meaningful life and love one another without inhibitions, freely and surely.

Throughout his life journey, his family and friends made many everlasting memories to forever hold close to their heart. Marco was loving, funny, non-judgmental, and courageous in all forms. His battle against cancer was full of strength and faith and he chose the Lord with each passing day by reciting the Lord’s prayer every morning and every night. He faced his circumstances with love in his heart and bravery in his soul. He fought every day just as his mother, Paula, would have wanted, “one day at a time.” He rests now eternally alongside our Lord and Savior, waiting patiently for the day to greet us with open arms.

Marco’s legacy will continue in the hearts of his cherished children Breanna A. Trujillo, Marco A. Silva Jr., Miguel J. Silva, and Izabelle F. Patina; his two precious grandchildren Gianni K. Silva, Xavien N. Silva; and brothers Ruben Silva, David Silva, and Albert P. Silva; many specials friends and countless extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Salas.
