Mark Stephen Diekemper, born in Washington, DC, on December 29, 1950, passed away on May 13, 2026, at his home in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the son of the late Anthony Henry and Mary Virginia (nee Cullen) Diekemper, and was a former Florissant, Missouri, resident. Mark, who was a childhood cancer survivor, is survived by his siblings Jerry (Sharon) Diekemper, Judy (Al) Ahlers, Barbara (Rob) Boyle, and Susan (Paul) Christopher. He was a cherished brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.
Mark was a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. He was a gifted storyteller and an accomplished musician and woodworker. He enjoyed sharing music with friends, spending summers fishing in Heber, Arizona, and he always relished a good pun.
