She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a Ward Clerk for 10 years up to the day she gave birth to her son David P. Fisher.
Martha married Duane T. Fisher on September 22, 1962, and they enjoyed 62 years together. She passed just short of their 63rd wedding anniversary. Martha became a stay-at-home wife and mother after the birth of her son in 1964.
Martha loved cross stitching, reading books, playing cards, bowling, and loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and a great grandmother.
