Anaheim

Mary Collier, 94, of Anaheim, California, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026.

Mary was born 1931, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Gordon and Kathleen Pemberton. She was one of eleven children, growing up alongside five brothers and five sisters in a large, close-knit family.

She is survived by her five children—Cecile, Gregory, Stephanie, Christine, and Michelle—as well as eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Mary lived a long and meaningful life, deeply devoted to her family, her friends, and her Catholic faith. She attended St. Mary’s Basilica in Phoenix from grammar school through high school, following in her mother’s footsteps.

She had a generous spirit and a passion for giving back, volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul to help feed those in need and supporting the Anaheim, CA Police Department. Mary also found great joy in traveling, attending rock and gem shows, and embracing any opportunity for laughter and fun.

She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, zest for life, infectious laugh, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met.
