Mary Lou Cropp passed away on June 17, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 85 after a long illness. Mary Lou was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 29, 1940. A leap year baby. She was married to Daniel Woody Cropp for 42 years. Her parents were Ramon Valenzuela and Nellie Abril. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School Phoenix. After high school she went to work for Valley National Bank in the bookkeeping department. After more than 37 years she retired from Valley National Bank as Assistant Vice President and Manager of Commercial Banking Services. After retirement she enjoyed her passion for Barbie dolls and met doll collectors from all over the world. She loved to travel, and her favorite destinations were Rome, Italy and Paris, France. 

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, brother Ramon Valenzuela and granddaughter Danielle McKinn. She is survived by her husband Daniel Cropp, son Peter McKinn, daughter Virgina McKinn, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Parish, 5045 E Thomas Road Phoenix AZ 85018 at 10AM on Friday, June 27, 2025 with a reception to follow in Fr. Feeney Hall. In lieu of flowers please make contributions/donations to Hospice of The Valley at https://hov.org/donate/.
