Mary Kathryn Kawulok

Mary Kathryn Kawulok, age 81, passed away peacefully in her home in Phoenix, Arizona, on July 4, 2026.

Mary was born on March 30, 1945, in Virginia, Minnesota. She was a loving sister to Joanie, Cheryl, and Dennis and was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Patrick.

Mary later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she met her husband, Phil Kawulok. Together, they made Phoenix their home and raised their three children, Kevin, Kris and Karyn. As her family grew, Mary became a proud grandmother to Noelle, Kira, Kristin, and Dominick.

Some of Mary's favorite memories were made while traveling with her family. She especially loved taking family trips to Disneyland and SeaWorld, creating traditions and memories that her children and grandchildren will cherish for years to come.

Throughout her career, Mary was a dedicated employee of Motorola and ON Semiconductor. She also devoted her time to serving others as a volunteer and committee member with the Arizona Humane Society and volunteered for the Breast Cancer Walks at South Mountain. Whether through her work, volunteer service, or everyday acts of kindness, Mary touched the lives of many people.

Mary is survived by her husband, Phil Kawulok; her children, Kevin, Kris and Karyn; her grandchildren, Noelle, Kira, Kristin, and Dominick; her sisters, Joanie and Cheryl; her brother, Dennis; and many extended family members, friends, and coworkers who will miss her dearly.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018.

Burial will immediately follow at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008.

The family warmly welcomes all who knew and loved Mary to attend the services as they gather to celebrate her life, share memories, and honor her legacy. They are deeply grateful for the love, support, and prayers extended during this difficult time.
