Meghan Eileen Masoero, 48, entered into eternal rest in her home on August 31st, 2025, after an 8-year journey of will and strength overcoming a stroke. She maintained a spirit of love and compassion throughout her difficult journey.
Meghan was born to Eileen and David Lowery on August 23rd, 1977. She spent her early years everywhere from Virginia to Istanbul, Turkey, and many trips to visit her beloved grandparents on the family farm in Tennessee. After high school and further education, Meghan embarked on a new chapter in Arizona, where she reunited with two incredible friends from Virginia. In Arizona, Meghan blossomed as an avid hiker and nature enthusiast, truly embracing the state as her home. In 2010, Meghan’s life took an exciting turn when she met the love of her life and best friend, Michael. Their connection was instantaneous, and they married in 2014.
Meghan, a creative woman with a diverse range of passions, shared her culinary creations, nurtured a collection of plants, embarked on hiking adventures, and immersed herself in reading whenever possible. She also dedicated herself to caring for her friends and beloved pets. Meghan’s selflessness extended to her family and friends, always going above and beyond to ensure their well-being and comfort. She cherished facilitating get-togethers, effortlessly infusing them with warmth and love that resonated with everyone she interacted with.
Meghan is survived by her loving husband, Michael, their two cats, Charlie and Ripley, her parents, Dave and Eileen, and her brother, Jason, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
The Lowery and Masoero families invite you to join us as we celebrate Meghan’s life and legacy together on Oct 4th at 1:00pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to AAWL (Arizona Animal Welfare League), a place that was able to provide joy and a feline companion for Meghan when she needed it most.
We find comfort in knowing that Meghan’s legacy lives on through the lessons she taught us, the many hearts she has touched, and the memories we will cherish forever.
