Michael E. Trujillo, 57, passed away on July 29, 2025, to begin his next chapter in God’s eternal kingdom. Michael passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by his loved ones and listening to his favorite tunes. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona to Ruben R. Trujillo and Bernice B. Trujillo, who passed away in 1987. Michael always lived his life with a bold spirit and was a one-of-a-kind person. Michael loved his family and took pride in who he was, enjoyed being the jokester, and could always win you over with his charm. He always welcomed others with open arms and a smile. He is survived by his two children, Candace Marie Trujillo and Adrian Michael Trujillo; his father, Ruben R. Trujillo, his stepmother, Irene Trujillo; his dear siblings, Ruben G. Trujillo (Lorraine), Sandra Cota (Aaron), Deanna “DeeDee” Rivera (Angel) and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Michael’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at St. Mary’s Basilica, located at 231 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85004. A Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 9:30 a.m., and the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery immediately following the services.
