Mike P. Aldaco Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona died of natural causes age 68 on October 24, 2025. Mike was born June 25, 1957 in Phoenix, Arizona to Mike Sr. and Santos Padilla Aldaco, the third of four children and only son. He graduated from Carl T. Hayden High School in 1975, was state wrestling champ 1975, loved football and was athletic throughout his life. In 1976 he enlisted in the US Marine Corps, served four years, was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal with earned medals for Good Conduct, Pistol Sharpshooter and Rifle Expert.
In civilian life, Mike served his community working as a plumber/ pipe fitter. He married Elizabeth Estrada on July 4, 1988 and had two children, he worked hard and loved his family harder. Mike lived his life with love and compassion, he continues to inspire the lives he touched with his notorious sense of humor and his passion for sports and music.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Mike and Santos, and sisters Sylvia and Nancy. He is survived by his two children Santo Miguel Aldaco, Katina Catalina Aldaco, daughter in law Elisa Aldaco and 5 grandchildren; Sebelle, Avianna, Jacob, Andre and Shawn.
A viewing will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. with a prayer service to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85018. Mike will be laid to eternal peaceful rest at 2:00 p.m. following services at the National Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 East Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85034.
