Patricia Hexiquio, loved by many, age 62, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 24, 2025, at Horizon Post Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Glendale.

Patricia was born August 31, 1963, in French Camp, CA. She spent her childhood and adolescent years between Phoenix, Las Cruces, and El Paso. She enjoyed talking about her childhood in El Paso and her many adventures walking into the Ciudad Juarez. She loved talking about her time in Las Cruces and time spent with her father (Jose Minjares). She loved recounting attending Phoenix Union High School, and the many changes with the layout and development of Downtown Phoenix. She would recollect the moments working alongside her mother (Socorro Montes) in the hotel industries. Of all the stories, she enjoyed talking about the day she met her future husband (Onesimo Hexiquio).

Patricia also had a passion for cooking and loved to share a meal with those around her. Dubbed the Tamale Queen, she made delicious tamales all throughout the year for friends, family, and loved ones.

Patricia loved her family. She would often express how proud she was of her two sons (Roger and Charlie). Her boys were her world. Those who knew Patricia also knew her boys through the stories she told.

Patricia enjoyed making everlasting friendships. She looked forward to each week at the Adult Health Center of Glendale. She loved to express herself through words and clothing. She was famous for her conversations in Spanglish. Often, bringing flavor to the words she spoke. She adored her clothing style and accessories that went with it. She loved wearing headbands, crowns, necklaces, bracelets, and rings.
