It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ralph Napoleon, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Ralph was native of Phoenix where he lived his entire life. He was also a decorated U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
Ralph was a simple man, and perhaps that was one of the greatest things about him. He was calm, easygoing, and content wherever life happened to place him. Ralph never needed possessions to feel like a rich man. He found happiness in a quiet morning, the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing, a warm fire, easy conversation, and the people he loved. He would often say, "A warm fire and a hot cup of coffee is all a man needs." He never needed to be the center of attention, and he never needed the world to know what he had accomplished. His impact on people came quietly — in the way he made you feel by simply being near him – safe, unhurried, and cared for.
In a world that constantly tells us we need more; Ralph showed us that a man can have very little and still have everything that matters.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Maria, his partner, and lifelong love. He was also the proud father of Monique Napoleon, Andrew Napoleon, Barbara Ryan, and Mario Barrey, and a loving grandfather to a large and cherished family.
Rest in peace Rifleman, until we meet again.
