Robert Holguin

Jun 19, 1974 — Sep 28, 2026

Robert J. Holguin, 52, of Phoenix, Arizona, entered into eternal rest on September 28, 2026.

Robert was born on June 19, 1974, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Ernesto and Antonia Holguin. His arrival completed the family, joining his older brother, Ernie. Robert grew up in the close-knit community of Laveen, where he enjoyed spending time with family, including living just down the street from his uncle, aunt, and cousins on his father's side of the family.

He attended St. Catherine Elementary School and later St. Mary's High School, graduating with the Class of 1992. After high school, Robert attended Phoenix College before deciding to pursue a career in the workforce.

In June 1993, Robert began his career with United Parcel Service (UPS), where he dedicated more than three decades of service. Throughout his career, he held a variety of positions and worked at numerous locations. Known for his strong work ethic and commitment, Robert remained a valued member of the UPS Teamsters Local 104 family until his retirement in the fall of 2025.

Robert embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. A lifelong sports fan, Robert loved traveling with friends creating countless memories watching his beloved ASU Sun Devils, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers. He was also a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed spending time with his mom and family cheering on his team. Beyond baseball and football, Robert loved exploring new restaurants, attending movies, experiencing sporting events, camping and sharing good times with family and friends.

Above all, Robert treasured the relationships he built throughout his life. His kindness, loyalty, sense of humor, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Robert is survived by his loving parents, Ernesto and Antonia Holguin, his brother, Ernie Holguin, nieces Sophia Holguin and Olivia Holguin and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by his family, friends, coworkers, and all whose lives he touched.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Robert has gone home to Our Father. Our beloved son, brother, and friend will be loved forever, remembered always, and deeply missed.

"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and forever dear."
