Ronald Lee Barreras passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Ronald was born February 6, 1967 to parents Louis & Carolyn Barreras. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis & Carolyn, siblings Vikki & Corrina and nephew Garrick Dia. Ronald grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Camelback High School and later Rio Salado College. He worked as a laborer most of his life and most recently as a landscaper.
Ronald was a loving uncle and jokingly referred to himself as Uncle Buck. Like the character in the movie, he was cheerful and high-spirited. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching movies, listening to music, and working on household projects. A few of his favorite things were Star Wars, Alanis Morissette, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, and the Joker. Ronald will be remembered for his humor, caring heart, and jovial personality.
He is survived by his nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends who will all miss him dearly.
On Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix funeral services will be held with a visitation held from 10 am - 12 pm, the service will begin at 12 pm.
