Scott Allen Pepp, age 62 of Tempe, Arizona passed away unexpectedly on Thursday May 15, 2025 at his home.
Scott was born on January 17, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Alfred and Delores (DeBoth) Pepp. He graduated from Slinger High School and Moraine Park Technical College. After completing a five year apprenticeship Scott continued with a long career in the injection moldmaking industry. In 1987 Scott fell in love with the Phoenix area and made it his permanent home.
Scott had a big outgoing personality, always reaching out to everyone around him. He was anxious to fill each day with friendship and excitement. Although he has left us relatively young he is a person that has filled his life to the very limit. He truly “lived the dash” as full as possible. Some of Scott’s biggest passions in life were as a very successful amateur motocrosser, waterskier, barefooter and snowskier. He loved the adventure sports! In younger years he actually hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim to rim in less than 24 hours, an incredible feat. In the last decade he stepped up his fitness game, carefully training for two local runs every year. A Thanksgiving turkey trot and the Pat Tillman Run which he was particularly passionate about.
Scott loved his son Cody with every ounce of his soul. He tried and succeeded in being the best, most caring father that anyone could ask for. Scott and Cody shared a love for baseball and he spent a large portion of his youth helping him with extra training. They belonged to many teams and traveled to distant locations sharing their passion. Beyond that they enjoyed BMX, boating, tubing, snowboarding, hiking, traveling, and so much more, even skydiving.
Scott was a caring and beautiful brother, uncle and brother in law to everyone in his family. He looked for friendship and camaraderie with everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by his family and countless close friends. Our hearts are broken.
Scott is survived by his son Cody (Jill) of Phoenix, AZ. His brother Jeff (Nancy) Pepp of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. His half -brother Eugene (Lisa) Pepp of Three Lakes, WI. His nieces & nephews Kaitlyn (Ash), Ryan, and Kyle (Mia).
Scott was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Delores (Deboth) Pepp, half-sister Audrey Schmidt and half-brother James Pepp.
