Music was at the center of Tom’s life. A talented musician, he played trumpet, drums, and several other instruments throughout his long career. He loved golf and remained active and engaged well into his nineties, continuing to work at a golf shop until he was no longer able to drive at the age of 96. He was a faithful attendee of Saint Ignatius Greek Orthodox Church and valued the friendships and community he found there.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Carlene Kacere, whom he married in 1981; his stepdaughter, Lisa Baba; and his grandchildren, Nick Forsten, Erik Baba, Heather Baba, and Ian Baba.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Fannie Habib, Lillian Haddy, and Mary Jean Kacere; and his brother, Joseph Kacere.
