William F. Behrens Jr

William F. Behrens, Jr., lost his fight to cancer June 5, 2026. Those who knew him remember his authentic, ready-for-anything personality. He loved a good time & sharing with people, whatever that looked like. He loved nature while he worked at some of our national parks for over 20 years in the summers, his lifelong childhood friends, his Arcadia City Church, rocking out to music, Park N Swap, going down memory lane of growing up in the Valley (think riding your bike with buddies to the fence of Legend City and watching concerts, for just one example), classic cars, Blues Brothers movie....he loved any upbeat, creative opportunity to be with people. He was very active on a weekly basis with his church, passing out food to the homeless, building beds for children, sharing life Saturdays & Sunday service with his church friends. He was not afraid of hard work & had vision with many, many ideas. He built success in real estate & loved checking out what was for sale on his roadtrips to little AZ towns with the dream of moving out of the big city to small town life. He had a big heart, often giving random strangers flowers, words of encouragement if they seemed down, baked bread to his local Circle K where he got coffee in the mornings. (He also gave strangers a piece of his mind if he thought they were being cruel, unkind, unfair...no fear, this guy.) Bill was very generous, giving gifts often to family members just because. He had a big heart & will be missed greatly. He is survived by his mother, Uta Behrens, his father, William F. Behrens Sr., his two sisters, Simone Barriga and Nicole Farrell.
