Yolanda Huerta

Yolanda Huerta, also known as “Yoli”, 79 of Phoenix, AZ, peacefully passed away at home on January 28, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1945, in Ajo, AZ to her parents Miguel and Sara Perez. Yolanda attended Ajo High School and graduated with the class of 1963. After her schooling, she went on to work in Customer Service for Goodwill for many years. During this time, she went on to marry the love of her life Albert Huerta, who preceded her in death, but undoubtedly greeted her with open arms in Heaven.

In Yolanda’s spare time she loved baking pumpkin bread for her grandchildren, collecting Tupperware and watching her favorite TV show Law & Order SVU and Blue Bloods. She cared for and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely and enjoyed any time that she got to spend with them!

Yolanda is preceded in death by her husband Albert Huerta, sons Michael and David Huerta, grandson David Huerta Jr., brother Tony Perez (Ana Elia Perez), and her parents Miguel and Sara Perez. She is survived by her sons Daniel Huerta (Jason Huerta) and Larry Huerta; brothers Rick Perez (Joselyn Perez), Andy Perez (Irene Perez), and Raymond Perez (Teresa Perez); 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Yolanda was loved by all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., on Saturday, February 10, 2024, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M., all held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., in Phoenix.
