O’CONNELL, PATRICK H.

It is with sincere sadness that we share the passing of Patrick H. O’Connell. He died peacefully in Scottsdale AZ on May 16, 2022.  Pat was born on November 5, 1930 to Edward and Sylvia O’Connell.  Pat attended St. Mary’s Grammar School and graduated from Phoenix Union High School.

He served in the Navy during the Korean War on the USS Rowan as a radar technician.  Pat worked at IBM before he became the caregiver to both of his parents. He is survived by his sisters Joan Ashley and Eileen Foster.  Pat lived in Mexico for 16 years and was an avid gardener. We will always remember and miss his sense of humor.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Community Church, 10815 North 84th Street, Scottsdale AZ 85260.
