PALLAS, GEORGE W

September 16, 2011 Leave A Condolence

In Memorial

George passed away peacefully on September 8, 2011. He was born in Oak Park, IL on August 19th, 1940 and grew up in Chicago for approximately 18 Years. After attending NAU in Flagstaff, George married his wife Carol (Pierce) on January 1st, 1963 where they began a journey together that would last for over 48 years. During their time together George joined the military and served two years in the United States Army at Fort Lewis Washington. After serving his country, George and Carol moved to Phoenix AZ where George began one of three professional careers. He was a successful business manager, a small business owner and a professional golfer. George had many passions in his life including sports, traveling and photography. None of those activities gave him the fulfillment he got from the love he had for his three children: Sue and her husband Steve, Peggy and her husband Terry, Mike and his wife Kelli and George’s three grandchildren Jake, Jackie and Camden. George will be truly missed by his family and friends. We invite you to honor his life with a Memorial Service on Sunday, September 18th at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix at 3:00PM. A Reception will be held following the service at the family’s home.

I am so sorry for your loss. May “the God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God’s Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.
