Frances Joan Parry

passed away on Sunday January 29, 2012 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on January 23, 1930 in Cambridge, Ohio to Nelson and Ardella Parry. The family moved to Phoenix in the summer of 1943. She attended North Phoenix High School and was a member of North Phoenix Baptist Church, where she met George Winn. They were married in 1949 and their son Michael was born in 1951. She furthered her education attending Gregg College of Commerce. In 1957 she worked for the Arizona State Department of Education and transferred to the Arizona State Tax Commission Income Tax Division. In 1959, Frances married Charles Wilson and in 1961 their daughter Nancy was born. She worked for her husband’s CPA firm until 1971. She obtained her C.P.S. license and after attending Phoenix College worked as an accountant for Salt River Project, though the 1980’s while maintaining a real estate license for well over 30 years.

Pre-deceased by her parents and 4 of her brothers she is survived by her son: Michael Winn and his family, daughter: Nancy Wilson Yoder and her family, sister: Sandi Thompson, 6 brothers: Phill, Norval, Ralph, Steve, David and Dan Parry and their families. Grandchildren: Samantha Marcantonio, Michelle Young, Max Winn, and Jeffrey Yoder. Great- grandchildren Emma and Ethan Marcantonio and Austin Young. Funeral Service Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:30 am Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ. Interment following at Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ. Memorial contributions to the Gilbert Senior Center “Meals on Wheels”, 130 N. Oak Street, Gilbert, AZ. 85233. Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home and Post Scripts by Posey.
