PATTON, BETTY ANN

July 29, 2013 Leave A Condolence

PATTON,

Betty Ann Patton, 76, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 and was welcomed by our heavenly Father home.  Betty was surrounded in person and by phone by all her Children, Grandchildren, and Great- Grandchildren.  Betty was first and foremost a wonderful Mother; devoted to her family.  When her husband was disabled at a young age, Betty went to school and became a Nurse and served her patients with love and compassion at the County Hospital and VA Medical Center.  Betty was very service oriented and joined the Lions, where she served as past President and other various titles.  Her Father Alcario, Mother Ramona, Brother Lionel, Husband George and Son John precede Betty in death.  Betty leaves behind to honor her life her Children: George (Dana), Mark (Linda), Suzanne, Barbara, Diana (Jim) and Kathy (Greg), nine Grandchildren: Steven, Daniel, Jessica, Timothy, Stephanie, Jennifer, Patricia, Elizabeth and John, Jr., nine Great-Grandchildren: Jazmine, Jonathan, Joscelyn, Jaquelyn, Alizy, Eden, Jacob, Noah, Amelia and Olivia.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:30 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ.   A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 3630 N. 71st Ave., Phoenix, AZ.  Interment to follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 2300 W. Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ.

    I am very sorry for the lost of the leader of your family. I have good memories of her in her kitchen in the house off of 24th street…To this day i still make my tacos like she showed us…Rest in peace Lovely Lady…
