    My Dear Sweet Mrs P.
It was my pleasure to be one of your caregivers. Although I had only been with you since June of 2015, I feel very strong ties with you. We had wonderful long talks and shared our past with one another. When I first met you I was in awe that you were born right here in Phoenix, AZ and lived here your whole life. Back then people weren’t born here, they were transplanted here. Secondly, I was in awe that you birthed 9 children. It was my goal to meet all 9 of your children. I was honored to have met 8 of them. You raised some wonderful children and you must have been a great mom as I saw the love and respect that they showed you. I miss looking at the “stair-steps”. The best comment you ever gave me was that you liked me because we “got” each other because we were both old. I got a chuckle out of that, but I knew what you meant. I loved your dry sense of humor and the love you had for Jesus Christ. You are greatly missed here on earth, but I know you are in a much better place now. Much love to you, Rita Keel.

To my family- I feel sadness for us all. For those who knew her as Mom, or Grandma, or Aunt and for those who are to young to have had the opportunity to know her. I hope we can all find peace.

    To my Grandma,
You will always be an important part of my life. You are a big reason I am the person I am today. Most of my childhood memories involve time spent with you. You never failed to make me feel special and important and loved. I regret all the times I thought to give you a call but didn’t. When it was in my mind to pick up a pen and write ( because I know you love letters) but I didn’t. I hope you know that you have always been and always will be thought of and deeply loved.
