Carmen was 88 years young and was born on July 16, 1926; she passed away peacefully May 22, 2015 with Loved ones by her side. She is preceded in death by her Loving husband of 62 years Vincent Peralta Sr., her daughter Sylvia Peralta-Aguilar (Joe Aguilar), her sister Marylou F. Calderon (Litcha), her great-grand son Brandon Gongora and her sister Lupe Abraham whom died the same day. Carmen is survived by her son Vincent Peralta Jr. & wife Loretta (Lance, Ashley, and Mitchell (Evie & Camie). Her eldest Granddaughter Bernice Peralta-Rivera & husband Robert Rivera (Bobby, Sylvia & Jojo). Roxanne Aguilar (Randy, Destany (C.J. & Brandon) David Gongora Jr (David Samuel) Joseph Aguilar III, & wife Angelina (Joseph, Ciara, Mia, & Jacob). Adena Peralta (EddieJo, Dylan, Vanesa). Carmen was known for her great cooking but especially her refried beans. All the grandchildren would go over to nana’s house just to have nana’s beans. Nana loved to dance, cook, travel, loved her Diamondbacks and let us not forget the CASINO! Nana will ever so much be missed but always loved and remembered for her feistiness. ***** We Love you Nana!

Funeral Services will be held together with her sister Lupe Abraham at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 located at 1421 S. 12th Street, Phx, AZ 85034. Viewing for Carmen will be from 9-10; Rosary will begin at 10, and Mass to follow. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phx. AZ 85008. A farewell potluck gathering will take place at Carmen’s home located at 1132 N. Oakleaf Drive, Phx, AZ 85008.
