My thoughts and prayers are with you upon the passing of your mom. Diane was a great mom, grandmother and dear friend to so many. Her deep faith truly was shown in her life. It her faith that will hopefully strengthen you at this time. It is that faith which hopefully enhance you to believe that Diane’s “life is simply changed, not ended.” I hold you all in prayer.

I met Diane at St. Jude’s school in Wauwatosa. I was privileged to be part of her prayer group for 39 years. As long as that sounds, I was the newbie in the group. Jane and Diane started praying in about 1970. They lived around the corner from each other on Bluemound Rd. and 95th St. in Milwaukee. It was thanks to a couple of mischievous kids that they met and started praying together. They always said they started praying because they needed to know God still loved moms who yelled at their kids a lot!
Ellen began praying with them a few years later and I joined them in 1982. There were several other women who were part of the prayer group over the years, but by the mid-80s, the group settled down to just the four of us. Through the years as each of us moved out of the neighborhood, our commitment to the Lord and to praying for our families kept us together. When Diane moved to Phoenix, we still kept our weekly commitment to pray together by calling Diane and using the speaker or Facetime on our phones.
Jane, Ellen and I have wonderful memories of Diane’s deep spirituality, her marvelous sense of humor, her awesome wittiness and her gift of writing. She often wrote poems to celebrate our birthdays and Christmas. They are some of our prized possessions. We miss her beyond description, but we rejoice in knowing she is with Jesus and that she’s saving a place for us around a table set with coffee, tea and chocolate!
Though unable to be there for the celebration of Diane’s life, we wanted you to know we will continue to pray for all of you – her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughters!

Dear Kim, Greg, Mark , Jason, Gia, and Chris
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you on the passing of your mom and sister. Diane was a great mom, sister, grandmother and friend to many. I will always remember the fun times we had playing cards at family events in Michigan and her telling me as a child it was okay to eat dessert first!
Prayers and hugs to all. Wish we could be with you all in Phoenix.
Love,

Just wanting the whole family to know that Diane was such a good friend, confidante and prayer partner. I met her as a massage therapist when she came to Phoenix and she was my first client when I was certified as a craniosacral therapist. She was always encouraging. We had so many laughs, cries, lunches and stories shared. What a grand and beautiful soul. I am honored to have been her friend. Blessings to you all.

To Greg, Mark, Jason , Kim and Gia,
Today I sit with my own sadness knowing that Diane and Charlie have left us. . It does bring me a sense of comfort knowing they are together They both were such a light in our lives. When they were in a room, you knew they were there. Their laughter and silliness was what separated them from the rest. They both loved to dance, (even if it was on tables)Diane listen with a open mind and heart with no judgement. I will truly miss my cousin and friend. I will dance with you on the other side. Loving you with all my heart, Your cousin and Friend, Donna
