    Dear Anna,

I am sorry that I did not have the opportunity to come to Phil’s memorial service and funeral. I owe a big debt of gratitude for what he and your father allowed me to do while I was in college. Phil, Blue Ribbon Bolt, and Custom Bolt Manufacturing Company helped me to be the man I am today.

I really liked Phil, and I was always sad that I had to leave Custom Bolt in order to become a CPA.

Carol and I are still married, and we have a 15 year old son named Patrick.

I hope you and your family are doing well.

    Tom

Dear Anna, I left your family so many years ago that you probably don’t even remember me. And it’s more than OK if you don’t. I am so sorry to read of the passing of your husband, almost 3 years ago now. I remember Phil as being so sweet and funny and the coolest of dads to your little girls in 1981.
Blessings to you, Anna, and everyone else in the Sanchez family.
    Phyllis Reynolds
