POTTER, CAREY ANN McCOY

December 6, 2017 Leave A Condolence

Carey Ann Potter e1512596613467

Carey passed away peacefully on November 8, 2017 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is survived by her husband; Dick, daughters; Samantha and Jennifer, brother; Scott, his wife; Katie, her nephews and nieces; Caiden, Reese, Makensie and Jack. She was predeceased by her parents; Michael McCoy and Nancy Killian. Carey was the oldest of 21 grandchildren, many loving aunts, uncles and family. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas and was raised in New Jersey before residing in Phoenix, Arizona for the past 25 years. She was a 1987 graduate of Northern Burlington Regional High School in Columbus, New Jersey and 1992 graduated Arizona State University. Carey worked tirelessly in the Health Care Services industry, with the last 10 plus years at McKesson Specialty Health as an Associate Director. Carey’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Girl Scout leader and an advocate for the Prader-Willi Association. She also loved the Diamondbacks and Cardinals. Carey’s most cherished times were spent enjoying life with her husband and their two daughters. Carey touched so many with her kindness, her positive attitude and her ability to put people at ease with her quiet demeanor. Her personal stamina and her devotion to family, friends and her animals were admirable. She will be sorely missed by all. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
