Caring wife of Thomas Pranka, loving mother of Paula (Pranka) Niemietz, Carol Pranka, Cynthia (Pranka) Boehringer and Thomas Pranka, Jr., adoring grandmother of Kai, Ashley, Jan, Brian, Mark, Michael, Katherine and Drew.
She was born on April 16, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away in Scottsdale on September 4, 2011. Carol was an inspiration to many and she will be greatly missed. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 7, at Mount Claret Retreat Center, 4633 N. 54th Street, Phoenix, 85018. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mount Claret Retreat Center. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
