Our beloved Margarita “Maggie” Precht passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the age of 77, surrounded by her family. She was born June 10, 1944 in Sinaloa, Mexico but moved to the United States to pursue the American Dream and ensure that her children could live a better life. A resident of Phoenix, Arizona for over 50 years, she had a love for gardening and was known for her delicious, authentic Mexican cooking. She was a loving mother of four, a grandmother of thirteen, and a great-grandmother of four. As a faithful servant of the Lord, she was known for her thoughtfulness, generosity, and selflessness, always caring for others before thinking of herself. For her many sacrifices, she will always be remembered and cherished.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, in Phoenix. A graveside service will begin at 11:30 AM at Paradise Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9300 East Shea Boulevard, in Scottsdale.
