Condolence from Donna (Patterson) Zuniga on October 17th, 2018 9:43 am

It saddened my heart to hear of Mr. Preciado’s passing. I attended Sierra Vista Elementary school with him and he was always a kind and thoughtful classmate as well as an “A” student. I was not at all surprised to read of the career he has had and his impact on the community. We knew him as “Dickie” and his kindness was an impact on each of us then as well. My sincere condolences and prayers of comfort are sent for his family and friends.

Condolence from Amy “Fargo” Anderson on October 17th, 2018 7:21 pm

I met Dicky about 3 years ago and I instantly fell in love with this gentle giant! He is one of the most kind, genuine and PATIENT people I have ever met! I was in Vegas with him a couple of weeks ago and we talked about how much he loves his school kids and loves substitute teaching. He gave me some advice and a little pep talk a couple of weeks ago and his words will forever be etched in my memory. My condolences to his family, friends and students as I know he will be missed by all of us forever! Saints softball will never be the same without him.

This is in regards to the passing of Dickie Preciado. To Susie, Christina and Olivia: I was shocked and saddened to read of Dickies passing. What a wonderful guy he was. During tournaments he was always calm and the voice of reason. We had many good times and travels together with Big Apple, I’ll always cherish those memories. My prayers are with you and the girls .

To the Preciado Family,
Mr. Preciado was by far the person on this Earth who most demonstrated Christ- like love for all who had the opportunity to know him. There will be no other who comes close. We could only do our best to love him in return. He’s in Heaven and our love for him remains.
