70, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Westford, MA. passed away quietly and peacefully on March 11, 2013 with her brother Dan and good friends Pat Montee and Colleen Mansfield at her side. “Peri” or “Pete” was born on August 7, 1942 in Lowell, MA. She was raised in Westford, MA, attended the local school system and graduated from Westford academy. She attended St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Lowell, MA and worked at the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA until 1967 when she moved to Phoenix and continued her nursing career by working at the VA Hospital, Camelback Hospital and St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center. She retired in 2000 and enjoyed a quiet life of working on her house, in the yard or spending time with friends. Peri was a lover of cats and other creatures and loved feeding the birds. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerard and Pierrette and brothers Claude and Hubert and is survived by her brother Dan and his wife Trudy of Westford, MA, numerous nephews and nieces and many close and personal friends. She will be greatly missed by all, as well by her kitty cats, “Pumpkin” and “Tinker”. No services are planned at this time.
