
85, of Phoenix, was born December 9, 1930 in Canton, China and died May 21, 2016 in Phoenix, AZ. Dave came to the Valley as young boy in 1938 and lived in Phoenix for the rest of his life. He graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1952. Dave served in the US Army from 1952-54. Dave was an active member of American Legion Post #50 in Phoenix. He married Ann Quan on June 3, 1956. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering and his Master of Science in Engineering from Arizona State University. He worked in the Aerospace and Defense industry for over 25 years. He enjoyed many years in retirement by fishing, hunting and camping in Arizona. He was also an active member of the Phoenix Trap and Skeet Club. Dave was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ann and is survived by sons, Terry (Barbara), Steven (Joy), Roger and Philip, grandchildren; Kelsey (Kyle), Kaitlin, Steven, Daniel, Kylie and Cameron; great-grandson Raefe and his brothers Bob (Marian) and Fred (Carol). Dave will be dearly missed by his large extended family and his many friends. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that any memorials be directed in his name to The Hospice of the Valley, (https://www.hov.org/donate). Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:00 PM with a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, with Interment immediately following at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
