Albert L. Quihuis was born on November 7th, 1920 and died January 3rd, 2011, nine days after his wife of 61 years passed away. We know they were always meant to be together. He was devoted to her, his family and the Catholic Church. Many beautiful memories surround this valiant and kind man. His surviving children are Al, Susan, Ed, Mary, Linda and grandchildren Adrian, Richard, Anthony, Alicia, Jeffrey, Andre, Lauren, Emily, Liberty and Alexandria. His celebration of life will begin with the Visitation on Sunday, January 9th, from 6 – 8pm with the Rosary starting at 7pm at Whitney& Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, January 10th, at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 S. Rural Rd, Tempe. Monsignor Thomas Hever will be celebrating the Rosary and Mass in honor of Albert. His final resting place will be with his wife Sophia at the St. Francis Cemetery.

This is a sudden death and I will always remember Albert.

Albert was like a brother to me including all his brothers. The whole was nice to me.
