85, passed away March 27 in Scottsdale, AZ. Born November 10, 1924 in Kinmundy, IL to Raymond and Merle Maulding. She married Dan Stevens Rainey Jr., on January 23, 1947, and moved to Carbondale, IL, where they raised their family. Several years ago Donna moved to Scottsdale to live with her daughter. Preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her daughter Sara Rainey of Scottsdale, and her brother Richard Maulding of Carterville, IL. Donna enjoyed daily conversation and coffee with friends, spending time with her daughter, her beloved kitty, BJ, and basketball. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or your local animal shelter. An informal Memorial Service will take place on May 8th.
