    Dear family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May the Lord comfort you with His presence today and always.

I personally have so many fond memories of my tia; camping was fun-even though I couldn’t take a shower. I enjoyed visiting with everyone at the house on Bowker (I think is the name). Tia would always prepare a fabulous meal . Going with tata to visit in Laveen to ride horses only to find Tia in the kitchen cooking or cleaning up. Then there were the Christmases and Easter celebrations which Tia would be at the sink continuously washing dishes as you would enter to greet her. Her tamales were always the best as was her potato salad. Sorry, Tia Chickie. Oh, and I can’t forget the period in time when she coiffed the beehive do with the top of her hair frosted blonde and the bottom was brunette. I thought she was so cool! She had so much patience and love for her family. We will miss her, though the memories of her will remain forever in our hearts. Love, peace and gratitude always, Sylvia and family
