RAMIREZ, INEZ JUSTINE

August 2, 2021 12 Condolences

Inez J Ramirez

Inez Justine Ramirez was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in the early morning hours. After battling illnesses, in her final days she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on August 6, 1935, in Phoenix, Arizona, Inez made a life of giving to others and raising her children. Married to Rudy B. Ramirez Sr. for 59 years, she cared for him and her home with loving tenderness. Inez was educated in Phoenix and attended St. Mary’s Elementary and St. Mary’s High School and remained a devout Roman Catholic her entire life. With a soft voice, Inez gently touched many lives as she journeyed through her life. She enjoyed the outdoors and especially camping with her husband and children over many years. In her final days, she spoke with a desire to soon be with her parents Antonio and Irene Rios who were waiting for her in heaven. Inez is survived by her husband Rudy B. Ramirez Sr. and children Rudy A. Ramirez Jr., Patrick J. Ramirez, Monica A. Puentes and Daniel A. Ramirez. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 8:30 am at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.  Mass will follow at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 909 E. Washington, Phoenix. Burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery.

Always with a sparkle of love in her eyes and tremendous happiness to see her grandchildren grow up. Not enough words or hugs can make the feeling go away today, tomorrow or in many years. But always with peace to know she always was surrounded by loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyday will be a day to say hello, no matter where she may be.

My Auntie Inez was one of the kindest people around and always putting others first; never would you be in her home without her offering you a good meal…several times just in case you changed your mind. She lived for her family and they were always her priority; this is what brought her happiness. May she rest in peace.

I am Inez’s brother. I have many memories of her. She was one of the most kindhearted people I have ever known. We used to have water fights and when she made tortillas they looked like the map’s of many countries but they tasted good. We all had a good time kidding her about them. She will be greatly missed.

While I never met your mother, Patrick, it is clear
she was a godly woman & raised her children to love God, appreciate the Creation, and reflect His character in their lives. Condolences and prayers for peace of mind.

My sincere condolences and prayers to the family of my cousin Inez. Her obituary describes her as the person she truly was throughout her life. Her devotion to family and faith were admirable. Inez has always been one of my favorite cousins. Sixty-one years ago she was a bridesmaid at my wedding. Occasionally, I stop and view the group photo of the wedding party in my living room to reminisce of these times in our younger lives. She was ready to be at peace with Our Lord and loved ones . She will always be in our hearts.

We were fortunate to have met Inez and her family many years ago. Her gentle spirit, love for family and faith in the Lord helped us grow in so many ways.

We are grateful to have known her and the examples of compassion and generosity she shared with us.

    ~My Dear Nina~
Thinking about my memories of you they mostly consist of you helping or tending to others. And every now and then you would treat yourself with a Coach purse. I think that’s where I got the love for Coach from. My earliest memory of you is at Tata Tony’s house and you’re french braiding my hair. I remember all the birthday parties and holiday parties together as one big family! I remember the family gatherings at the Cherry Lynn house! I remember our plane rides to California! You would do anything and you did everything for your family and friends!! I Love You Nina!! You will be missed!! Rest in peace!!

Can’t count the number of times she made me ‘special’ side meals, my food issues I couldn’t eat what everyone else did. Besides Mom, Tia was a beacon of goodness, a good soul born. The Camping trips in the Summer are cherished memories for me my for my Tio, Tia and my Cousins. The meals out Camping were just awesome but the times spent are forever. You all are in my nightly prayers.
