RENDON, ROBERT EDWARD

In Memorial

Robert passed peacefully from this life on October 26th 2012 after suffering a major heart attack on July 22nd 2012 at the age of 58. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family, friends and caregivers at the VA hospital during the last days of his life. Robert was born in Denver, CO, and moved to East Los Angeles, CA with his family in 1968 and later moved his business and built a life in Phoenix, AZ since 1984 until his death. Robert also served two years in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne unit. Robert is survived by two children: Robert M.L. Rendon of West Covina, CA and Sarah A. Rendon of Los Angeles, CA. Robert was also survived by his brother Gene Gurule and sister-in-law Rose Gurule of Grand Junction, Co., sisters, Eva Flores and brother-in-law Jose Flores of Walnut, CA, Linda Andrade of Lakewood, CO and Sylvia Alvarez and brother-in-law Albert Alvarez of Fontana, CA and Cesar his ever obedient and best friend pit bull. He is preceded in death by his mother Marie Gallegos, eldest sister Joan of arc Hernandez and nephew Gabriel Hernandez. We will miss you greatly and you will forever be in our hearts. Memorial Service will be at 11:00am, Friday, November 9th at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Interment will follow at 2:30pm, at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. For further info please contact Sarah at srendon@alumni.usc.edu.
