RETTINGER, NICKOLAS JOSEPH

November 16, 2012 Leave A Condolence

RETTINGER,

Nickolas Joseph Rettinger was born May 6, 1992 in Everett, Washington; and passed through the veil into eternity November 6, 2012 in Midland, Texas.

Nick loved all things that boys enjoy like fishing, boating, snowboarding, hiking Supai Falls, and riding motorcycles. Nick also enjoyed cooking and baking and he was very talented at this skill, but a bit shy to let everyone know. He was always compassionate, thoughtful, attentive, playful and in the company of his best buds Michael, Aaron and Zack. He was a boy scout and earned his Eagle rank in 2010 supervising the building of a greenhouse for a boy’s technical school in Midland, Texas.

Nick served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lusaka, Zambia in southern Africa. Nick served everyone he met and was a source of joy at all functions he attended. He is loved and missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother and father Daniel and Rhonda Rettinger, brother Bradley Rettinger, sisters Emily Snyder and Hannah Baca, and girl friend Ali Velazquez.

The atonement is eternal and through this truth we know we shall see him again.
